JiseiJisei is the farewell-poem of a poet/samurai/zen monk before his death.
The Jisei of Matsuo Basho
旅に病んで
夢は枯れ野を
かけめぐる
Tabi ni yande
yuma wa kareno o
kakemeguru
I dont have at hand any "official" translation, but the meaning roughly is:
"Falling sick on a journey, my dream goes around above withered fields."
